The OUTBOUND Handy Cooker is a compact solid-fuel stove designed for outdoor cooking where a simple, portable heat source is required. Small folding solid-fuel cookers have a long association with military field equipment. During the First World War, British soldiers carried small folding solid-fuel stoves commonly known as “Tommy Cookers”, using them to heat rations and prepare simple meals in the field. Later hexamine-fuel cookers continued this tradition; the National Army Museum records a British military hexamine cooker from around 1958 that was used on jungle patrols because of its light weight and minimal smoke, with soldiers using it to heat ration tins. The OUTBOUND Handy Cooker follows this same general compact solid-fuel stove concept for civilian outdoor use.

Always use a suitable pot or pan with the cooker and follow the manufacturer's outdoor-use instructions.

Shipping charges are calculated based on the delivery method you choose. Charges are based on the rate we are charged by your chosen carrier. We do not add a handling charge. If you have a change of mind or order the wrong item, you will need to return it to us within 7 days of delivery for an exchange or refund.

Orders received before 8am (Melbourne time) will be shipped same business day. All orders received after this time will be shipped next business day.

Most orders are dispatched from our Melbourne Warehouse location, however your order may be dispatched directly from the manufacturer or one of our business partners.
